Christians have a yesterday, today, and tomorrow because we have a Savior that is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We have an assurance and a hope in him. In today's message, we look at these three phases of the believer's salvation. We have been saved from the penalty of sin. We are being saved from the power of sin. And in the future, we will be saved from the very presence of sin. "In the beginning was the word..." That's how the apostle John's gospel opens, but what exactly did he mean? What is the "word," or "logos?" Bible translators and Greek scholars have had many different ideas about what he was really writing about. Was John really telling us that Jesus has pre-existed eternally as a part of a triune God? Or have modern Bible translations misinterpreted what he was really trying to say? In today's study, we examine the truth behind the translation. Professor Anthony Buzzard, Restoration Fellowship
