Jesus is Coming!
Friday Jan 30, 2009
Friday Jan 30, 2009
Brother Bill's message today about the Kingdom of God just happens to be the favorite message of Jesus during his public ministry. There's no topic Jesus or his disciples spent more time talking about. There's a kingdom that's coming. There's a righteous king who is coming to reign. No more evil. No more sorrow. No more pain. And yes - even no more death. Are you watching in anticipation? Are you waiting for the return of Christ? Are you ready? William Wachtel

If a Man Dies, Shall He Live Again?
Monday Jan 26, 2009
Monday Jan 26, 2009
Birth. Life. Death. Is that it? Is there life after death? Is there something more and greater to come? What does the Bible say? What is "eternal" life? When will that life be? What is man's hope? In today's message, we examine one of life's most asked - and most misunderstood - questions. In Job's desperation, he speaks of a "change." And that change is the hope that sustains us. And knowing that change causes us to change. Do you want to live forever in a perfect world? Listen in, and find out how... God's Future Government
Saturday Jan 24, 2009
Saturday Jan 24, 2009
In the United States, we live in a great nation. The freedom here is unlike anywhere in the world. But as great as our nation is, we're not perfect. We're run by imperfect leaders. But there is a time that is coming in which a kingdom will be established on earththat will be run by a perfect ruler in perfect peace. We have something great to look forward to as believers in Christ. God has promised us a better hope than any man or nation can make. Have you heard the promises? 2 Samuel 7:11; Zechariah 9:9,10; 1 Cor. 15:20-24; Philippians 2:9; Rev. 21:1; Rom. 10:9 Pastor Michael Cisler, www.northkentbiblechurch.com

Our Hope
Thursday Jan 22, 2009
Thursday Jan 22, 2009
We've been through another election cycle and heard a lot about "hope" and "change." But what is the "change" in a disciple of Christ? What is the distinction between the world's hope and the hope of Christ's followers? Is it in this government? Or one that's coming? 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Ephesians 6:19,20; Philippians 4:9; 3:17-21; 2 Peter 3:1-18; 1 Corinthians 1:18-28; Daniel 2:31-45 Mike Dart Church of God, Faith of Abraham Cashmere, Washington www.faithofabraham.org

Watch Out!
Tuesday Jan 20, 2009
Tuesday Jan 20, 2009
Most of us don't just want to walk into something unprepared, not knowing what's going on. We like to ask questions to prepare ourselves. We want to know what to expect. In the same way, the followers of Jesus have been forewarned in advance of what to be looking for before His return. Jesus tells us to, "Watch out!" Are you watching? Are you ready? The Meaning and the Significance of the Abrahamic Covenant
Monday Jan 19, 2009
Monday Jan 19, 2009
In Genesis Chapter 12, God begins his program of redemption through one man of faith. Abram, later named Abraham, leaves everything to follow God. Through this single man, God establishes an unconditional covenant. Abraham is given an everlasting promise. In his descendants, a new, holy nation will come. What does any of this have to do with us today? Through Abraham's covenant and in righteousness, all the faithful will also share in the same inheritance. God has promised a land for his children as an everlasting possession through his Seed, Jesus Christ, and God's promises are sure! Genesis 12:1-3; Genesis 13:14,15; Genesis 15:18; Genesis 17:5; Romans 4; Romans 9; Galatians 3 Pastor Hollis Partlowe Dixon Church of God, 221 West Morgan, Dixon, Illinois 61021

The Messianic Hope
Saturday Jan 17, 2009
Saturday Jan 17, 2009
Israel wanted deliverance. The people were under oppression. They were looking for God's Anointed to come in power and deliver their nation. But they weren't looking for Jesus. Although all of the prophecies indicated how Jesus would come, they weren't expecting him. He was rejected by those who had been praying for his coming. Like Israel, our hope even for today is that the Messiah will come, that a deliverer is coming to bring salvation to his people and peace to the earth. He is our only hope. Are you ready for that day? John 1:29-42 Pastor Terry Ferrell Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605

Looking For A Home
Thursday Jan 15, 2009
Thursday Jan 15, 2009
As believers in Christ, we are all strangers in a foreign land. Like Abraham, we walk in faith looking for a new home. We are looking for something better. We are looking for a new land. And we are heirs of the same promise. We are promised an inheritance in the Kingdom of God at the return of Jesus. Think of the excitement as we sit down with the great patriarchs at that banquet table. Imagine the thrill when we are reunited with our loved ones on that resurrection day. Are you ready for that coming day?

Israel and Her Future
Tuesday Jan 13, 2009
Tuesday Jan 13, 2009
Did you ever notice how Israel always seems to be in the news headlines? Why does this little nation get such big publicity? In the end, who will help her? Does it ever seem like God has forgotten his promises? Well, God has not forsaken his people. In fact, the restoration of Israel is the hope of the world because it is tied to the second coming of Jesus. In today's message, we examine the end-time prophecies preceding the return of Christ. Zechariah 8:1-8; Isaiah 11:1,2; 60:21; Luke 21:24; Jeremiah 16:15; Ezekiel 26:24-28; Amos 9:14,15; Zechariah 14:2-5; Isaiah 2:3; Romans 11 Pastor Kenneth Milne
