Do You Want to Live Forever?
Monday Mar 30, 2009
Monday Mar 30, 2009
What would you pay to live forever? Throughout human history, man has always tried to find a way to keep living on. No one wants to die. But all the offers of man can't stop you from dying. God has a plan though. Eternal life is a gift from Him. The resurrection is the Christian hope. But before we can live, we all must die. But first you must choose to accept the one who chose to die so that you can truly live. Do you still want to live forever? Job 14:8; Matthew 5:5; Revelation 21:3; Hebrews 9:27; Romans 2:7; John 10:17,18; 7:7; 5:24-28;1 Corinthians 15:12 Fred Pensyl 4/14/1974

Unfulfilled Prophecies - Part Two
Friday Mar 20, 2009
Friday Mar 20, 2009
What if this generation lives through to see the Kingdom of God? What if we're the ones? How do we know we're getting near the return of Christ? In today's message, we continue our study into end-time events that could not have happened at any other time in history. And as we look at the prophecies, we realize we're closer now than we've ever been. And knowing all this, it's up to us to be ready, to be prepared, and to remain faithful. According to the Pattern
Wednesday Mar 18, 2009
Wednesday Mar 18, 2009
The study of the tabernacle is one rich with meaning and symbolism. God gave very specific instructions to Moses for its construction. God wanted it built according to the pattern he laid out. God has always been very particular. We must serve Him in His way. And we must build our lives according to the pattern of the life and work of Jesus Christ. Sunday Mar 15, 2009
Sunday Mar 15, 2009
In today's message, Jesus warns his followers against complacency and indifference. We are to be waiting and ready for the coming of the Bridegroom. Will the Son of Man find faith when he returns to the earth? How much oil is in your lamp? Will your lamp be lit? The Bible's Most Misunderstood Text
Monday Mar 09, 2009
Monday Mar 09, 2009
Perhaps some of the most misused and misunderstood Bible texts come from the parables Jesus used to teach the multitudes. But to interpret any of these illustrations, we must remember why it was told and to whom it was told. And perhaps no passage has been more misinterpreted than the parable of "The Rich Man and Lazarus." Was Jesus trying to teach about the afterlife? Or are we missing the point? In today's message, Pastor Hollis Partlowe clarifies the simple truth and the religious lesson behind this story...and it may not be what you've always heard before at church. What holds us together? The Rock. What will bring an end to this age of evil as we know it? The Rock. What is the church built upon? The Rock. Are you getting the picture? Jesus is the Christ and the son of God. As the church, we are the citizens of the Kingdom of God. So get on the Rock. Let's build our lives on that firm foundation. Why Israel, and What About the USA?
Tuesday Mar 03, 2009
Tuesday Mar 03, 2009
Israel is God's chosen covenant people. And God keeps his promises. But why is this little nation so hated? Why do its neighbors live in continual hostility with this small country? With the many advances the Jewish people have made in medical science, education, agriculture, and even freedom, she should be admired and protected. But why is the world silent? Will Israel ever live in peace? Pastor Kirkpatrick begins answering as we get past the bias in news reporting and begin looking at modern-day events with a biblical world view. Who Do YOU Say That I Am?
Thursday Feb 26, 2009
Thursday Feb 26, 2009
Who do people say Jesus is? There are lots of opinions. But more personally, who do you say Jesus is? Jesus asked his disciples the same question. And the Apostle Peter gave the right answer. It should be the same answer for us today. Jesus was no ordinary man. He was "the Christ, the son of the living God." But how will knowing that fact change your life? Defining the Gospel
Wednesday Feb 25, 2009
Wednesday Feb 25, 2009
God created the world and offers man a chance to repent and escape judgement and obtain eternal life on the earth through his Son when Jesus returns. That's the basic message Paul preached to an absolutely pagan, idolatrous audience in his sermon on Mars Hill. It's the same gospel message Jesus and his disciples preached and taught. It's the same message promised to the patriarchs and prophets of Israel. It's the same message of the early church. But why has the world, and most modern Christianity, complicated and rejected such a simple and basic message of salvation? Acts 17:22-34 Mike Dart www.faithofabraham.org

The Great Return
Thursday Feb 19, 2009
Thursday Feb 19, 2009
After Jesus ascended, his followers were told that he would return in the same way as they saw him leave. And his disciples believed it was true. They had already witnessed the power of God through Christ's resurrection. And the return of the King of kings has been the same hope for his followers throughout the ages. Yet, there are Christians who have lost hope, left their faith, and changed their message because his return has not yet happened. But until Jesus returns, it's up to us to prepare ourselves and prepare the world for his second coming. Are you ready? Reborn to Reproduce
Monday Feb 16, 2009
Monday Feb 16, 2009
When we read about Jesus and his disciples, we find they had one message they were proclaiming. In fact, Jesus said that he was sent for this purpose of preaching the gospel. And it is in that same message we find the mighty power of God. If we have the spirit of God in our lives, we will boldly declare the message of God to the world. Our mission is the same. Our message is the same - and it cannot be silenced. Matthew 3:14; 4:23; Luke 4:33; 8:1; 9:1,2; 24:49; Acts 1:3, 12-14; 3; 4:1,2, 8; 8:5; 5:32;9:17, 20, 22; 19:8; 28:3; John 14:15 Pastor Dick Eldred

Saturday Feb 14, 2009
Saturday Feb 14, 2009
Are you so consumed by the problems of today that you're missing the big picture? God has big plans and a bright future for those who belong to Christ. And Jesus is coming back. Because Jesus has been raised, we are promised victory over death and sin. We're promised a perfect body and a perfect life in a perfect world to come. So let's keep our perspective. We need to stand firm, and let nothing move us. Written in Blood
Friday Feb 13, 2009

"For God so loved the world that he gave..." You know the verse. The world's only hope came from God's only son. We were all unworthy sinners. We deserved death. But because of God's love, and the sacrifice on the cross, we are a part of a new covenant. We are part of a promise written and sealed with our Savior's own blood. Shifting the Load
Sunday Feb 08, 2009
Sunday Feb 08, 2009
As we come into Christ, and as we affim him in faith as our Savior, we have a new power source to help us deal with the frustrations of daily living. In the Apostle Peter's letter, he writes to Christians suffering persecution and gives them the recipe for facing life's trials. He tells them to "cast all of your cares upon him." None of life's problems or anxieties are too small or too large for him. God hears us. God is listening. God is concerned. And God cares. Our Source of Hope is God Alone
Saturday Feb 07, 2009
Saturday Feb 07, 2009
In what kinds of things today do we put our hope? Money? The government? Other people? Our job? But ultimately, there is only one place we can have a constant, secure, and certain future. There is only one individual in which we can always have a sure confidence. The world will let us down. But our perfect God never fails. Isaiah 37:15-17; 44:6-8; 40:31; 1 Samuel 2:1,2; 1 Timothy 6:17-19; Psalm 42:5,11; 62:5-8 Pastor Michael Cisler www.northkentbiblechurch.com

The Elements of the Kingdom
Thursday Feb 05, 2009
Thursday Feb 05, 2009
Jesus is coming in glory. He's physically coming back to the earth. It's unlikely that this is the first time you've heard these facts. But after he returns, and when he sets up the kingdom, then what happens? What will it be like? What will the righteous be doing? What about the rest of the earth? How will the kingdom be ruled? Where will this new government be centered? Brother Mike shares what the Bible has to say if you've ever pondered any of these questions. Wednesday Feb 04, 2009

God is present every day in our lives. And even while we were yet sinners, He gave His son to save us from this miserable mortality. But what separates us from our loving Father? What's taking the place of God in your life? Is something more important to you than God? What idols do you worship? God loves us with everlasting love, and yet we run away from his embrace. God loved Israel so very much, like a son, but they disobeyed, rebelled, and rejected their Father and their King. But through Christ, His only begotten son, our Father has adopted us into His royal family. He has taken us out of our filthy rags at the orphanage and called us by a new name. Friday Jan 30, 2009
Brother Bill's message today about the Kingdom of God just happens to be the favorite message of Jesus during his public ministry. There's no topic Jesus or his disciples spent more time talking about. There's a kingdom that's coming. There's a righteous king who is coming to reign. No more evil. No more sorrow. No more pain. And yes - even no more death. Are you watching in anticipation? Are you waiting for the return of Christ? Are you ready? William Wachtel

If a Man Dies, Shall He Live Again?
Monday Jan 26, 2009
Monday Jan 26, 2009
Birth. Life. Death. Is that it? Is there life after death? Is there something more and greater to come? What does the Bible say? What is "eternal" life? When will that life be? What is man's hope? In today's message, we examine one of life's most asked - and most misunderstood - questions. In Job's desperation, he speaks of a "change." And that change is the hope that sustains us. And knowing that change causes us to change. Do you want to live forever in a perfect world? Listen in, and find out how... God's Future Government
Saturday Jan 24, 2009
Saturday Jan 24, 2009
In the United States, we live in a great nation. The freedom here is unlike anywhere in the world. But as great as our nation is, we're not perfect. We're run by imperfect leaders. But there is a time that is coming in which a kingdom will be established on earththat will be run by a perfect ruler in perfect peace. We have something great to look forward to as believers in Christ. God has promised us a better hope than any man or nation can make. The Meaning and the Significance of the Abrahamic Covenant
Monday Jan 19, 2009
Monday Jan 19, 2009
In Genesis Chapter 12, God begins his program of redemption through one man of faith. Abram, later named Abraham, leaves everything to follow God. Through this single man, God establishes an unconditional covenant. Abraham is given an everlasting promise. In his descendants, a new, holy nation will come. What does any of this have to do with us today? Through Abraham's covenant and in righteousness, all the faithful will also share in the same inheritance. God has promised a land for his children as an everlasting possession through his Seed, Jesus Christ, and God's promises are sure! The Messianic Hope
Saturday Jan 17, 2009
Saturday Jan 17, 2009
Israel wanted deliverance. The people were under oppression. They were looking for God's Anointed to come in power and deliver their nation. But they weren't looking for Jesus. Although all of the prophecies indicated how Jesus would come, they weren't expecting him. He was rejected by those who had been praying for his coming. Like Israel, our hope even for today is that the Messiah will come, that a deliverer is coming to bring salvation to his people and peace to the earth. He is our only hope. Looking For A Home
Thursday Jan 15, 2009
Thursday Jan 15, 2009
As believers in Christ, we are all strangers in a foreign land. Like Abraham, we walk in faith looking for a new home. We are looking for something better. We are looking for a new land. And we are heirs of the same promise. We are promised an inheritance in the Kingdom of God at the return of Jesus. Think of the excitement as we sit down with the great patriarchs at that banquet table. Imagine the thrill when we are reunited with our loved ones on that resurrection day. Are you ready for that coming day?
